Lemsip Max Cold & Flu Capsules are an oral cold and flu medicine for adults and children aged 16 years and over. Each pack contains 16 capsules formulated with paracetamol, caffeine and phenylephrine hydrochloride to relieve fever, headaches, nasal congestion, sore throats, fatigue and body aches.

Ingredients / Composition

Each capsule contains paracetamol 500mg, caffeine 25mg and phenylephrine hydrochloride 6.1mg. Other ingredients: starch, croscarmellose sodium, sodium lauryl sulfate, magnesium stearate, sterilised talc, gelatine, titanium dioxide (E171), patent blue V (E131), erythrosine (E127), shellac and quinoline yellow (E104).

Directions

Swallow the capsules whole with water; do not chew. Adults, the elderly and children aged 16 years and over should take two capsules every four to six hours as required, up to a maximum of four doses in 24 hours. Do not take more than eight capsules in 24 hours. Always read the enclosed leaflet before use.

Warnings / Storage

• Contains paracetamol. Do not take with any other paracetamol-containing product.
• Do not give to children under 16 years of age.
• Do not exceed the stated dose. Seek immediate medical advice following an overdose, even if you feel well.
• Consult a pharmacist or doctor before use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication or have an existing medical condition.
• If symptoms worsen or persist for more than five days, consult a pharmacist or doctor.
