Motusol Max is a maximum-strength topical anti-inflammatory gel for the short-term local treatment of mild to moderate pain associated with acute strains, sprains and bruising following blunt trauma. Its active ingredient, diclofenac, targets pain and inflammation at the affected area to help reduce swelling and restore movement.

Ingredients
Active ingredient: Each 1g of gel contains 23.2mg diclofenac diethylamine, corresponding to 20mg diclofenac sodium.
Other ingredients: Isopropyl alcohol, propylene glycol (E1520), cocoyl caprylocaprate, liquid paraffin, carbomer, macrogol cetostearyl ether, diethylamine, oleic acid (E570), butylhydroxytoluene (E321), fragrance containing citronellol, geraniol, benzyl alcohol (E1519), linalool, limonene, citral, farnesol, coumarin and eugenol, and purified water.
Directions
Adults and adolescents aged 14 years and over should apply a cherry-to-walnut-sized amount (approximately 1–4g) thinly to the affected area twice daily, preferably morning and evening, and rub gently into the skin. Do not exceed 8g per day, and wash your hands after application unless the hands are being treated. Do not use for longer than one week without medical advice; consult a doctor if symptoms worsen or do not improve within 3–5 days.
Warnings
- For external use only. Do not swallow or apply to the eyes, mouth, mucous membranes, broken skin, eczema or infected skin.
- Do not use if you are allergic to diclofenac, aspirin, ibuprofen, other NSAIDs or any listed ingredient.
- Not suitable for children under 14 years.
- Do not use during the final three months of pregnancy. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- Stop using the gel and seek advice if a skin rash or allergic reaction develops.
- Avoid direct sunlight or sunbeds during treatment and for two weeks afterwards.
- Do not smoke or go near naked flames because fabric that has contacted this product can burn more easily.
- Keep out of the sight and reach of children and always read the enclosed patient information leaflet.
