Ingredients / Composition
Each 13.7g sachet contains macrogol 3350 13.125g, sodium chloride 0.3507g, sodium bicarbonate 0.1785g and potassium chloride 0.0466g. Also contains acesulfame potassium and lemon and lime flavour comprising acacia solids, maltodextrin, lime oil, lemon oil, citral, citric acid and water.
Directions
Adults aged 18 years and over: take 1–3 sachets daily in divided doses according to individual response. Dissolve one sachet in 125ml of water, stir until dissolved and drink. It may be taken with or without food. Do not use for more than five days without consulting a doctor or pharmacist.
Warnings / Storage
- Read the enclosed patient information leaflet before use.
- Not for children or adolescents under 18 years.
- Do not take if you have an intestinal blockage or perforation, severe inflammatory bowel disease or an allergy to any ingredient.
- Do not take other oral medicines with Movicol Ease or within one hour before or after a dose.
- Continue drinking plenty of fluids; the prepared solution does not replace normal fluid intake.
- Consult a doctor if abdominal pain does not improve, blood is present in bowel movements or treatment is required for longer than five days.
- Keep out of the sight and reach of children. No special storage conditions are required for unopened sachets.
- Once prepared, keep covered in a refrigerator at 2–8°C and discard after six hours if unused.
