Ingredients / Composition

Each 30ml contains 525mg bismuth subsalicylate. Other ingredients: aluminium magnesium silicate, methylcellulose, gellan gum, methyl salicylate, sucralose, salicylic acid, sorbic acid, benzoic acid (E210), sodium salicylate, amaranth (E123) and purified water.

Directions

Shake the bottle well before use. Adults and children aged 16 years and over: measure and swallow 30ml, repeating every 30–60 minutes if required. Do not take more than eight doses in 24 hours or use for longer than two days. Read the enclosed leaflet before use.

Warnings / Storage

• Do not use if under 16 years old, pregnant or breastfeeding.
• Do not use if allergic to bismuth subsalicylate, salicylates including aspirin, or any listed ingredient.
• Do not use if taking other salicylates, or if you have a stomach ulcer, blood-clotting disorder, or bloody or black stools.
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if you take other medicines or have an underlying medical condition.
• Stop use and seek medical advice if symptoms worsen or continue for more than two days.
• This medicine may temporarily darken the stool or tongue.
• Keep out of the sight and reach of children. Do not refrigerate or freeze.
