Rust-Oleum Chalkboard Paint in Black Matt is designed to create a writable and erasable chalkboard finish on a wide range of suitable surfaces.

This 750ml tin is ideal for DIY projects, craft work, furniture updates, children’s rooms, notice boards, home offices, kitchens, workshops and creative display areas. Once applied, the surface can be used with conventional chalks.

The quick-drying formulation dries to the touch in approximately 30–60 minutes and provides a practical matt black finish for indoor chalkboard-style projects.

Directions

Stir well before use. Use only when the temperature is between 10–32°C and humidity is below 85% to ensure proper drying. Previously painted surfaces should be lightly abraded to provide a key. Bare metal and wood should be suitably primed prior to painting. Apply paint with a soft brush using light, even strokes, taking care to avoid runs.

• Recoating: allow at least 2 hours between coats

• Cleaning: clean brushes immediately after use with water
