One level scoop is approximately 4.6g. Feeding quantities are provided as a guide only. Your baby may require more or less than the amounts shown. Consult your healthcare professional for individual feeding advice.
Preparation Instructions
- Wash your hands and sterilise all feeding utensils according to the manufacturers' instructions.
- Boil one litre of freshly run water and allow the kettle to cool for no longer than 30 minutes.
- Measure the required quantity of water into a sterilised bottle. Take care to avoid scalding.
- Using the scoop provided, level the powder using the built-in leveller. Do not press or heap the powder.
- Add the correct number of scoops to the water.
- Place the sterilised teat and cap on the bottle and shake immediately, vertically and vigorously, for at least 10 seconds until dissolved.
- Cool under running water and check the feed temperature before feeding immediately.
Due to the blend of ingredients, the prepared formula may separate. If this occurs, shake the bottle vigorously before feeding.
Important Feeding and Storage Advice
- Powdered milk is not sterile. Failure to follow preparation instructions may make your baby ill.
- Make up each feed only when required.
- Do not heat feeds in a microwave because hot spots may occur and cause scalding.
- Never add extra scoops or anything else to your baby's feed.
- Never leave your baby alone while feeding.
- Discard unfinished feeds as soon as possible and always within two hours.
- Store the powder in a cool, dry place.
- Do not refrigerate the powder.
- Use within four weeks of opening.
- For enteral use only.
Dental advice: Prolonged or frequent contact between milk feeds and your baby's teeth may increase the risk of tooth decay. Ask your healthcare professional or dentist for advice.
