Ingredients / Composition

Active ingredient: aciclovir 5% w/w. Other ingredients: dimeticone, propylene glycol, poloxamer 407, cetostearyl alcohol, sodium laurilsulfate, white soft paraffin, liquid paraffin, Arlacel 165 (glycol monostearate and macrogol stearate 100) and purified water.

Directions

Read the enclosed patient information leaflet before use. Apply enough cream to cover the affected area five times daily at approximately four-hour intervals for four days. If the cold sore has not healed, treatment may be continued for up to 10 days in total. Wash your hands before and after application.

• Seek medical advice if the cold sore has not healed after 10 days or becomes severe.
